Viagem de Nordeste - Noordoostenreis.

Okeeee..

Zo ongeveer heel januari heb ik dus een reis gemaakt, zo rond het noordoosten van Brazilie; Brasilia, Lençois, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Jericoacoara, Natal, Itacaré, Porto Seguro em Rio de Janeiro. Zo’n reis met 40 andere buitenlandse studenten, dat is dus echt de moeite! Als ik nu begin te vertellen, weet ik al dat ik vanalles zal vergeten, dus zal het bespreking per dag worden –

6 januari;

Afspreken in Sao Paulo. Daar waren we al met 6 belgen – in het total zouden we met 10 zyn, op een totaal van 40… alleen de Duitsers waren erger; die waren met een stuk of 15 (:

7 januari;

Vertrokken naar BRASILIA, tegen de avond daar toegekomen.. een paar slimmerds hadden ontdekt dat de fitness niet echt gesloten was, gewoon de deur opheffen en opendoen, dus zyn we ‘s nachts nog wat id sauna en ih zwembad gegaan ^^

8 januari;

Museumbezoek – congresbezoek – uitzicht van uit een toren – zuiverheidstempel . druk dagje dus (: |al de foto’s staan op facebook btw!| ‘savonds dan nog pizza gaan eten .. het waren zo 2 tafels van elk 20, en ik zat juist in het midden vd tweede tafel, dus had ik echt niet veel keus; de lekkerste pizzas waren altyd al op Ö nuja, terug ih hotel zyn we nog met een stuk of 15 op het dak gegaan – nadat we eerst weer de sauna & zwembad geweest zyn ^^. Om 12uur moesten we gaan slapen, dus de begeleidster kwam ons halen. Juist dat moment begon myn maag te grommen … ik vraag dan zo of ik niet nog snel naar de mcDo naast ons hotel mag gaan, omdat ik zooooo weinig pizza gekregen had … da mocht – dus met zo die bende v 15 naar de drive thru vd mcDo achter yscrèm!^^ normaal moesten we dan gaan slapen (normaal, idd ;p) maar iedereen sliep op hetzelfde verdiep, behálve de begeleidsters! We komen dus toe op ons verdiep; “eigenlyk heb ik geen zin om myn crèm alleen op te eten…” “ik ook nie…” … iedereen op de grond id gang zyn crèm opeten … wat babbelen, Michiel haalde dan zyn spel uno-kaarten boven, maar we hebben het niet kunnen spelen omdat iedere keer dat de lift de 6de verdieping passeerde, iedereen wegspurtte naar zyn kamer – egt hilarisch! Waarschynlyk zaten de bewakers beneden ons gewoon super hard uit te lachen… x) uiteindelyk kwam de andere begeleidster dan – en zyn we gaan slapen (: -welja ik toch, van de rest weet ik het niet ;p-

9 januari;

Busrit – CHAPADA DE DIAMANTINA, Lençois

10 januari;

Grotbezoek in 3 verschillende groepjes, echt zotzalig; constant zot doen en zo met die van myn groepje. Bergbeklimming – superlastig, maar echt een prachtig zicht! Erna nog naar een watervalletje gegaan – wat gezwommen. ‘s avonds dan het stadje zelf, Lençois bezocht. Met een stuk of 8 meisjes hebben we een klein zaaltje waar ze pagoda-muziek speelden gevonden. (Pagode is een muziekstyl, vooral van Bahia –myn staat- ) superzalig! Er waren daar 2 meisjes die ons dan voortoonden hoe te dansen op de muziek, echt machtig! ‘s avonds dan nog wat zitten babbelen by het zwembad (we zaten in een herbergje, supergezellig, en daar is het centrale punt zo echt het zwembad – heel de reis door was dat zo, in hotels ook wel, maar minder aangezien we soms ‘s avonds niet meer mochten zwemmen…)

11 januari;

3km wandelen id bergen voor aan een natuurlyke glybaan te komen – eerst heb ik een uur getwyfeld of ik het zou doen, maar uiteindelyk heb ik er toch van gegaan, en echt, zot zalig! ^^ daar dan een meisje van myn school gezien, super toevallig (: ‘s namiddags dan naar een natuurlyk zwembadje, en onderweg verschillende soorten klei waarmee je je kan “schilderen” tegengekomen. ‘s avonds was er dan nog een capoeira-show in onze herberg, echt sjiek om te zien, en erna weer wat zitten babbelen.

12 januari;

8u op de bus gezeten; SALVADOOOOOR! (myn huidige woonplaats dus ^^) welja, eerst zyn we dus naar een “gemeente” een uurtje verder geweest, naar een schildpaddenproject, TAMAR, in Praia do Forte. Terug ih hotel mochten we niet meer in het zwembad omdat het al te laat was. Dan maar erlangs wat zitten babbelen-

13 januari;

Naar Mercado Modelo geweest, een overdekt marktje, dan via de Elevador Lacerda naar Pelourinho gegaan, daar kwamen dan 3 buitenlandse studenten die hier in Salvador zitten ons bezoeken (: ‘s avonds zyn we dan naar een folklore-balletshow gegaan, echt prachtig!

14 januari;

Met een boot naar een eilandje gegaan, er was gewoon niémand anders. Egt zalig! Erna nog naar Bonfim Light geweest, een show met 3 grote namen van Axé (een andere muzieksoort), en echt, ik heb my zót gejeund! ;D

15 januari;

Busrit ; RECIFE.

16 januari;

Naar een strand geweest, Porto de Galinhas – waar ge dan zo me een klein zeilbootje by vissen kon duiken, omdat ze vastzaten in het koraal ofzo.. ‘s avonds normaal naar het shopping maar ik had iets aan myn voet en kon niet gaan…

17 januari;

City tour met de bus – normaal gingen we vandaag dus naar een repetitie voor carnaval in februari, maar rond de middag begon het te giéten, maar tegen we dan toekwamen op dat “carnaval” was het al wat minder, en samen met nog een paar andere doorzetters zyn we dan naar daar geweest. Dat was zo meelopen in kleine stoetjes, echt zalig! We moesten dan terugkeren, om te beslissen of we nog meer wilden gaan of niet, maar toen we op het verzamelpunt toekwamen, begon het wéér te gieten, dus konden we niet meer gaan… ‘s avonds weer naar het shopping (:

18 januari;

19 januari;

Heel de dag strand, ‘s avonds dan naar een avondmarktje vlakby het strand gegaan. Afscheid van Hanna (Duitse) en haar gastzus, Bruna….

20 januari;

Afscheid Lisa (Elizaveta, Duitse). JERICOACOARA! We kwamen toe in een stadje daar dichtby, dan moest iedereen op een jeep, met de koffers enal, en door een woestyn naar Jeri zelf ^^ toen we toekwamen nog even gezwommen –weer een herbergje!^^- ‘s avonds vry rondlopen in het stadje zelf, omdat het toch zo klein is dat ge toch nie kunt verdwalen, en erna naar een electro-feestje.

21 januari;

We mochten doen wat we wilden, dus ben ik om 9u opgestaan, gaan onbyten en weer gaan slapen tot 12uur omdat ik echt moe was… dan ben ik gaan middageten met een Belgische en een Amerikaanse, maar daar begon ik helemaal koorts te krygen .. ik ben dan maar teruggekeerd naar het herbergje, en drekt in myn bed gekropen.. 3uur later komt een andere Belgische binnen, haalt snel een begeleidster omdat ik zo iets van 40° koorts ad … (: warme douche gepakt, en sinds lang beginnen water drinken (waarschynlyk dus een uitdroging (: )

22 januari;

Normaal met de buggy’s gaan ryden, maar wyselyk thuisgebleven, hoewel datk sochtends al geen koorts meer had. Nuja, snamiddags is dat dan weer begonnen, en savonds dan naar een “ziekenhuisje” gegaan, spuit in mn onderrug –zeeeeeer datda dee!- en twas over (: ‘savonds was er dan Forró-les (andere muziekstyl) maar ik deed niet mee; nog wat moe … nuja, de anderen uitlachen heeft ook wel iets ^^

23 januari;

Busrit ; afscheid Oxee (Hongarye) en Leticia (begeleidster van AFS) NATAL!

24 januari;

Fort bezocht + naar een vies strand gegaan … erna naar het strand; zwembad, privé-strand, sauna… echt zalig! :D

25 januari;

Busrit; Aracajú (alleen overnachting)

27 januari;

Een strandje bezocht, itacarézinho, en erna via een bergwandelingske nog twee andere strandjes bezocht, onderweg constant zot zitten doen – Belgische momentjes, echt hilarisch gewoon! ‘s avonds normaal naar een feestje, maar het begon maar om 1uur, veel te laat voor ons dus… dan maar zelf op zoek gegaan naar een feestje (met begeleidster natuurlyk.) ; forró-feestje, nog sjiek ^^

28 januari;

Strand bezocht, zowat de helft vd groep heeft uiteindelyk op zyn handdoek wa liggen rusten!^^ 3 weken reizen begint duidelyk al door te wegen ;p ‘s avonds vry in het stadje rondlopen.

29 januari;

Busrit; PORTO SEGURO!

Nog een paar uurtjes in het zwembad gebleven (herbergje!^^) en na het avondeten naar een superzalig feesteiland! Echt superzalig! Daar dan nog 100 rotary-mensen tegengekomen, die dezelfde reis maken, maar met een andere organisatie. Tegen 4uur was dat daar gedaan, echt overzalig!!

30 januari;

Strand, en na het avondeten drekt slapen. ;p

31 januari;

Verjaardag Manon! De ontdekking van Brazilie – eerste plaats waar de buitenlanders dus een voet aan land gezet hebben. Dan naar een mega-cabana gegaan (een cabana is zo een hutje op het strand, waar je drank en voedsel kan bestellen) – met een podium met ‘dansles’ – echt machtig! :D na het avondeten nog wat buiten gezeten ^^

1 februari;

Busrit- Vitória; alleen overnachtig. Ons hotel lag naast een overzot yssalon, zalig gewoon! :D

2 februari;

‘s nachts tot een uur of 2 en een half wakker gebleven met Liesa en Eva (2 belgische)… we konden niet slapen omdat de airco niet werkte, en om 2 uur moesten we dan een nachtelyke verhuis maken naar de andere kant vd gang… echt hilarisch! X)

Busrit; RIO DE JANEIROOOOO!! ; nog naar een avondmarktje geweest. Eindelyk met 4 andere Bahianen op de reis; ge kon ook alleen maar Rio doen van de reis, en 4 buitenlandse studenten van Bahia kwamen erby – eindelyk was ik niet meer de enigste! ^^)

3 februari;

Te voet citytrip , namiddag Pao de Açucar (Sugar Loaf, Suikerbrood) in het hotel dan gezwommen + een saunake gedaan ^^, ‘s avonds dan nog naar een voetbalmatchke gaan kyken in het Maracanã, zalig! :D

4 februari;

Laatste dag…. Maracanã bezocht – den Christo bezocht ^^ - derna naar het strand van Ipanema gegaan (strand naast het strand van Copacabana) – ons hotel was by the way op Copacabana! ^^ ‘s avonds dan nog samba- en funkdansles , suuuperzalig! X) afscheid nemen, gaan slapen om 4 uur, na eerst ng wa rondgetjold te hebben met Eva en Liesa, die belgischen, afscheid genomen van iedereen, dan van Eva om 4uur, en dan gaan slapen.

5 februari;

‘s ochtends nog wat meer afscheid genomen van de rest, met nog een stuk of 15 op nu een halflege bus ….. egt raar, normaal zaten er daar zo 40 mensen op … naar Sao Paulo, om daar dan myn vliegtuig te pakken. De beste laatste medereiziger ; Liesa! Thuisgekomen en drekt gaan slapen!

twas egt zaaaaaaaaaalig! kheb my super geamuseerd, superleuke mensen leren kennen, vooral van Europa omdat de mensen van het zuiden vd wereld maar toekomen in Brazilie vanaf februari (: moest ik het kunnen, ik zou het onmiddellyk opnieuw doen, die reis! echt een reis om noooit te vergeten!

eerst en vooral over nieuwjaarsavond ; ik denk dat myn facebook-status het nog het best samenvat, dus smyt ik die er snel even op, reden ; tydsgebrek (:

"Noor Wille had de eerste seconde van 2010 zand onder haar voeten, en op de achtergrond vuurwerk & het ruisen van de zee. 15 min hakken dragen om dan uiteindelyk de rest vd avond op blote voeten op het strand rond te tjollen. de eerste zonsopgang van het jaar, en 7 keer over een golf springen om een wens te doen. teveel willen genieten van de eerste zon, om tegen het twaalfde uur van 2010 al verbrand te zyn. eu amo Brasil! ♥"

dus daar is iedereen nu ook weer over mee (: nieuwjaar was speciaal, anders, en echt zalig! :D

en dan nu over myn titel:

morgen om 12u30 plaatselyke tyd, vertrekt myn vliegtuig richting São Paulo, om van daar een hele rondtrektocht (niet letten op de raarheden; myn Nederlands gaat van kwaad naar erger--) door het noordoosten van Brazilië te maken ..

Jan 07^th – Thursday SÃO PAULO / BRASILÍA

Jan 08^th – Friday BRASÍLIA

09:00am – City tour.

City tour in Brasília will go through the “Congresso Nacional”, the “Três Poderes” Square (where the “Palácio do Planalto” is, from where the President governs) and the “Palácio da Alvorada”, the President official residence.

Visit to the beautiful Cathedral of Brasília, to the “Esplanada dos Ministérios”, to the President Juscelino Kubitschek Memorial and the famous ecumenical temple of LBV (“Legião da Boa Vontade”) where we are going to visit the 7 Points Pyramid with the largest crystal found in Brazil.

Jan 09th – Saturday BRASÍLIA/LENÇÓIS

07:00am – Departure from Brasília to Lençóis!!!

10:00pm – Arrival in Lençóis and check in at the hotel.

The “Chapada Diamantina” is the great natural spectacle in Bahia. Just amazing !!!

Jan 10th – Sunday LENÇÓIS

08:00am – Departure in our bus for a super-day, full of adventures! You will go for swimming, do trekking and explore caves!

We will go to the Mucugezinho River and after that a super-waterfall: “Lapa Doce” Cave and finally, we will do a trekking up the “Pai Inácio” Hill (where we find the best view of the Chapada). Bring your snack.

009:00pm – Capoeira Show!!! You can join the Capoeira Class after the presentation.

Jan 11^th – Monday LENÇÓIS

08:30am – Walk to “Ribeirão do Meio” (natural slide) where you can slide down a waterfall into the natural pools.

In the afternoon you can choose between stay at the hotel enjoying the swimming pool and nature or do a walk to the “Areia Colorida” Cave.

Jan 12th – Tuesday LENÇÓIS / SALVADOR

09:00am – Departure from Lençóis to Salvador.

02:30pm – Arrival in Salvador – Praia do Forte

Visit to the beautiful and important Tamar Project (it defends the protection of sea turtles, and has breeding tanks where you find turtles, visitor’s center, museum and a beautiful souvenir shop) at Praia do Forte. It is a success on sea fauna preservation.

Also take a walk on the charming village of Praia do Forte with its colorful shops, ice-cream shops with typical Northeast fruits ice-creams – try the delicious cajá ice-cream - coffee places and also the famous typical food from Bahia: Acarajé!

Jan 13th – Wednesday SALVADOR (waar ik dus woon!^^)

08:00am – Departure for the cultural city tour through the Central Market (an excellent market with many handcraft works and capoeira show) and the “Cidade Baixa” walking by the wonderful coastline of Salvador.

After visiting the market we will follow on foot to the Historical Center of Pelourinho. We will go up taking the Lacerda elevator, it has 72m height and link the “Cidade Baixa” to the “Cidade Alta”. At the top of Lacerda Elevator, at the City Hall Square, you will see one of the most beautiful views of the capital city: the “Baía de Todos os Santos” that has to fund the Itaparica Island.

02:00pm - Visit to the Historical Center of Pelourinho (it is a neighborhood with historical buildings of XVII and XVIII centuries with narrow streets where it is located The First Medicine University Of Brazil (1808).

Through the streets of “Pelô” you can find history, art, party, the rich and beautiful “Convento de São Francisco de Assis” (1587), which has the largest quantity of gold from Brazil in baroque paintings and the Museum of the Bahia writer Jorge Amado. Between an alley and other we are contaminated by the vibrant rhythms of the “axé” music, the “samba-reggae” and the african-brazilian rhythm!

The local life-way and its culture allow us to experience, as a native, this unique experience of a neighborhood inhabited mostly by descendants of black slaves from Africa that came to Brazil at the colonization period.

Curiosity: the name Pelourinho was borrowed from the columns where the slaves and criminals were whipped by the end of the nineteenth century. The pillories were disabled with the abolition of slavery.

Then we will visit the “Dick do Tororó”, where the sculptures of the 7 Orixás and the “Farol da Barra” are located. At the “Mercado Modelo” and the shops of Pelourinho you will find the original Capoeira Pants and also the real “berimbau” (sound instrument played at Capoeira Shows).

Jan 14th - Thursday SALVADOR

8:00am - Departure for a wonderful boat ride to the “Ilha dos Frades”.

It will go through several islands in the “Baía de Todos os Santos”, with a stop for swimming in the semi-deserted beach of “Ilha dos Frades”. We will make a picnic on the beach! (Each one takes his/her snack).

04:00pm – Return to Salvador going straight to the hotel for a nice shower!

08:00am – Departure to Recife.

09:00pm – Foreseen arrival in Recife.

Jan 16^th – Saturday RECIFE / PORTO DE GALINHAS

Plenty of sunshine, with beautiful beaches, a sea of warm water and much joy! This is Pernambuco!

09:00am - Enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil: “Porto de Galinhas”!

It is a beach of green warm and clear water, with natural pools filled with colorful fish, excellent for snorkeling (only done at low tide) and quiet raft rides (extra cost).

In Porto de Galinhas there is a charming village with many gourmet restaurants and shops with beautiful handcrafts. It’s great!

Jan 17th - Sunday RECIFE

08:00am – Departure for city tour in the “Brazilian Venice”.

We will go through the neighborhood of “Recife Antigo” (streets with colorful houses), “Parque das Esculturas”, “Praça da Pepública”, “Marco Zero” (downtown) and also the “Casa da Cultura”, an old prison that today serves as handcraft fair.

02:30pm – Visit to Olinda (World Heritage City). Its houses and streets from the seventeenth century are stage of the most lively, colorful and original Brazilian carnival. Olinda is known as one of the most beautiful historical cities in Brazil. And one of the most merrymakers ... Here reins another Brazilian music and dance style: the thrilling “frevo”!

Jan 18th – Monday RECIFE / FORTALEZA

08:00am – Departure to Fortaleza.

07:00pm – Foreseen arrival in Fortaleza and check in.

You can make the first visit to the great and excellent handcraft fair of “Orla da Praia de Meireles”. Do not forget to notice the charming and beautiful hammocks of Ceará. It is one of the best handcraft fairs of Northeast!!! We will have another day to visit this fair.

Jan 19th - Tuesday FORTALEZA

09:00am – Departure to the Cumbuco Beach.

45 minutes far from the city, Cumbuco is one of the most visited beaches in Fortaleza, because of its beauty and also the sand dunes.

Today you are going to enjoy yourself with many cool activities. Buggy ride through the sand dunes with a stop in the freshwater lagoon to do "skibunda" (get down from the sand dune sitting a board until you fall into the lagoon!) Here you will also have a nice and beautiful horseback riding through the great and beautiful Cumbuco Beach.

04:00pm – Cultural City Tour

We will leave to enjoy the late afternoon at the coastline, visiting the “Dragão do Mar” Cultural Center where it is located the “Museu de Arte Contemporânea e Memorial da Cultura Cearense”. Then we will follow to the metal bridge, with a beautiful view of the city coastline from where we can see dolphins! It is a nice place for a delicious ice cream made from Brazilian tropical fruits.

Jan 20th - Wednesday FORTALEZA / JERICOACOARA

Jericoacoara is isolated by dunes and rock walls and has one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil! It seems like a rustic fishermen village with streets of sand. There are dunes of up to 30 meters, coconut trees and lakes! It is a heaven!

09:00am – Departure in our bus to the sensational town of Jericoacoara where we can find one of the most wonderful beaches of Brazil!

We will go to the small town of Jijoca, where we will leave our buses and take “jardineiras” to go through the dunes until we reach Jericoacoara, 28km later.

04:00pm - Foreseen arrival in Jericoacoara. Check in.

Jan 21th – Thursday JERICOACOARA

One more day at the paradise! Departure for the spectacular buggy riding through the beaches of “Jeri”, the sand dunes and freshwater lagoons, with stop for a great dive in the “Lagoa da Tatajuba” (included).

Jan 22nd – Friday JERICOACOARA

We suggest you to wake up at early morning to see the sunrise! Enjoy the day to rest at the hotel or walk and take sunbath in the beaches accompanied by one of the monitors.

At the end of the day we will go up to the top of a dune to see the wonderful sunset! Jeri is one of the only places in Brazil where the sun hides in the sea!

Visit to the village at night to buy souvenirs and handcrafts! Enjoy the time and take a delicious tapioca ice-cream!

Jan 23^rd – Saturday JERICOACOARA / NATAL

07:00am – Departure to Natal.

08:00pm – Foreseen arrival in Natal and check-in.

Jan 24th – Sunday NATAL

08:00am – Departure to the cultural city tour visiting the “Forte dos Reis Magos”.

In 1598 the fort was occupied by the Dutch between 1933 and 1654. It has a format that reminds a 5 points star with overlooking to the sea. There is the landmark of the discovery of Brazil.

Then we will follow (optional tour) to the famous beach of Genipabu, where we will spend the day. Genipabu is a fishermen village with shops and buggy tours though the famous sand dunes You can also take horse back ridding or the exotic dromedary. Super-day!

05:00pm – Return to the hotel. We will GO straight to the hotel!

07:30pm – Typical Northeast dinner with cuisine of “sertão” (included).

Jan 25^th - Monday NATAL / ARACAJÚ

09:00am – Departure to Aracajú.

Jan 26th - Tuesday ARACAJÚ / ITACARÉ

Itacaré is today one of the beach destinations most seeked by young Brazilians and ecotourism lovers! At the same place there is the opportunity to visit semi-deserted beaches, walk through “Mata Atlântica”, swim beneath waterfalls and do rafting! A paradise on the south of Bahia!

Departure to enjoy the semi-desert and spectacular beach of “Itacarezinho”.

To get there we will walk through “Mata Atlântica”. We will spend our day at this tropical scenery!!

Walk on the cherry “Rua da Pituba”, where you can find shops and many ice-cream shops – try the açaí ice-cream!

In April, 1500, the Portuguese landed in a new world across the Atlantic. The beginning of our history changed the south of Bahia, but the friendly people and many of its beautiful landscapes still there as five centuries ago. You will see it!

Jan 30th - Saturday PORTO SEGURO / TRANCOSO

08:30am – Departure to the wonderful beach of Trancoso.

A paradise! It is a semi-deserted beach with a beautiful surrounded by coconut palms. After the beach we will visit the charming village of Trancoso where it is worth to drink a Brazilian fruits juice at the famous “Praça do Quadrado”, with colorful houses, native residents and beautiful shops with hippie/chic style! From there we also have one of the most beautiful views of the Brazilian coast

Jan 31^st – Sunday PORTO SEGURO

09:00am – Visit to the historical city of Porto Seguro where it is localized the “Marco do Descobrimento” and the first village built in Brazil. After that we will follow to the “Coroa Vermelha” beach and the “Parque Histórico de Santa Cruz de Cabrália”.

The Pataxós indians inhabit in Coroa Vermelha, they descend from the Tupinambás that inhabited this part of the Brazilian coastline at the discovery time. In Santa Cruz de Cabrália is localized a cross that represents the first Mass held in the Brazilian lands. A show of history!

After that we will go to the “Barraca Axé Moi” beach in Porto Seguro, with great cheerfulness and Axé show – the rhythm of Bahia, where you can dance and have much fun!

04:00pm – Return to the hotel

Enjoy the afternoon to rest at the hotel or go the beach of “Arraial d’Ajuda”, enjoying the wonderful local view.

Feb 01st – Monday PORTO SEGURO / VITÓRIA

08:30am – Check out and departure to Vitória.

06:00pm – Arrival in Vitória and check in.

Feb 02nd – Tuesday VITÓRIA / RIO DE JANEIRO

09:00am – Departure to Rio de Janeiro.

05:00pm – Foreseen arrival in Rio de Janeiro, check in at the hotel

Visit to the famous Copacabana Art craft fair. You can find a lot of local handcraft work and buy souvenirs of the Marvelous City.

Feb 03^rd – Wednesday RIO DE JANEIRO

07:30am – Cultural Tour – Historical Rio.

We will have a walking tour through the historic part of Rio de Janeiro, accompanied by specialized guides, visiting:

Arcos da Lapa

Teatro Municipal

Palácio Tiradentes

Time for a coffee break in the charming Confeitaria Colombo

Praça Imperial

Catedral de Nossa Senhora Candelária

Right after, we will visit the famous “Sambódromo” (official Samaba Parade Runway), Maracanã (soccer stadium). After we will follow to the modern neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca, making a stop at the Hard Rock Café Rio.

04:30pm – Visit to the world famous Sugar Loaf. You will face one of the most amazing landscapes of Rio de Janeiro. The tour has tow different parts: the fist one is going up to the top of the stone called Morro da Urca; the second one is going upper to the top of the charming and spectacular stone of the Sugar Loaf.

Feb 04^th – Thursday RIO DE JANEIRO

Departure to IPANEMA BEACH !!!

In Ipanema, besides swimming and sunbathing, you can walk through the charming streets with great and famous “carioca” shops, enjoy sometime on the coffee places, visit the famous restaurant/bar “Vinícius de Moraes”, place where the world famous musician composed the great song “Garota de Ipanema” (Girl of Ipanema).

Return to the hotel for relaxing shower.

03:00pm – Departure to visit the splendorous Cristo Redentor with its sublime view of Baía de Guanabara and all Rio de Janeiro!!! Incomparable!! We will go up on the lift in the middle of the Atlantic Forest until we get in the top of the hill.

09:00pm – Dinner and co fraternization reunion.

Feb 05th – Friday RIO DE JANEIRO / SÃO PAULO

After breakfast the students living close to Rio de Janeiro will be board to their host cities. Belo Brasil will have monitors at the bus station and airports to assist the students and accompany the boarding.

07:00am – Departure to São Paulo.

02:00pm – Arrival in São Paulo and students drop off.

okeeeeh- alweer een maandje geleden datk ng eens iets op mn blog geschreven heb..
ondertss is er niet zoveel nieuws eigg..
behalve dan dat ik sinds vrydagochtend 8u30 officieel 2maandjes nalf zomervakantie heb.. oh da voelt goed ;D
nuja, 1maand daarvan, januari, zal ik toch een reis maken met andere AFS-ers van over heel Brazilië. en deze maand zal vooral gevuld zyn met praia (strand), shopping en ng meer praia ^^
gisteren was het het verjaardagsfeestje voor myn zusje, en er waren superveel doces ;DD -kleine chocolade'snoepjes'- kheb my byna ziekgegeten ^^
anders nie veel nieuws.. tis hier alsof dak thuis ben; kkan alleen dn bus pakn en overal in Salvador graken, kvoelmy thuis int huis ier, myn gezin is superlief enzo ;D
kwou datk meer nieuws heb, maar egt; alles voelt hier zo normaal aan, alhoewel dat er toch een paar rare dingen zyn;
kerstvooruitzichten met 40º en strand, zomervakantie in december, en myn verminderend Nederlands..
nuja, aan iedereen; vrolyk kerstfeest en gelukkig nieuwjaar, voor moest ik hier niet meer graken tegen dan ;p

& ik heb nog altyd geen voetbalploeg gevonden.. wel al enkele ploegen, maar geen meisjesploegen.. kga der nog zelf ene moeten beginnen ö^^

wa er ondertss allemaal gebeurd is..
hmm - kben ziek geweest, gwoon een verkoudheid, ma ik ben deze week 3 dagen thuis gebleven..
wss van constant van koud (klas me airco) naar warm (buiten) en omgekeerd te gaan(:
kben nie egt de enige in mn klas;
we zyn al met een stuk of tien die ziek zyn.. ;s
nuja, daardoor was het wel wat minder leuk op school, want ik had nooit geen zin om actief te doen, of om met mensen te praten of zo, hopelyk dat het achter dit weekend over is!

de eerste maand Brasil gevierd in Praia do Forte^^

dees weekend zyn we naar Praia do Forte gegaan, het weejkendhuisje van myn gastgezin (:
samen met Roxanne (BEL), Megan (VS) en Lucile (Fr).
twas egt super leuk!
kben eindelyk eens naar het strand gegaan! (mocht wel eens; kben ier al een maand!)

twas met sleepover;

wemn pannekoeken met choco gegeten als onbyt (omg, kwist nie dak da zoooo miste!!)
en ook spaghetti - egt super lekkern!!
toendaw zondag naart strand gingn, begon et daar ommetekee te gieteeeeen;
ik & Megan begonnen spontaan 'singing in the rain' te zingen xD
twas egt een geslaagd weekendje^^

eigg is heel myn eerste maand al geslaagd ;p
kjeun my ier mssz hard,
tis ier egt zalig leven!^^

@ Joke; ik zal zo rap mogelyk skype installeren; dan kunnen we eens skypen^^
btw; de bus kan ik ondertss al vlot pakken - ^^

hoe snel 2weken nalf soms kunnen gaan ^^

kbegin het hier zo ondertussen meer en meer gewend te komen ^^

myn klas is egt super zalig! kjeun my egt voor dood tydens de intervalos, de lessen zyn wel wa minder door myn gebrekkig portugees maarkom ;p

om et nie te ingewikkeld te maken zegk dazt moetn uitspreekn glyk et franse 'nord'

of ze draaien popu liedjes, sommige van jaren geleden, mssz veel. zo hoork zkr elken dag of Kelly Clarkson me 'because of you', James Blunt me 'you're beautiful', 'halo' van Beyonce, 'i'm yours' van Jason dinges, of 'incomplete' van - jawel - de Backstreet boys x)

kben nog meer dingn gewend gekoomn, mr vo de moment isda zo gewoon dakr ni op kan komen ;p
